Live seat maps that look like the real cabin

  • Seats are now drawn to the shape they actually are. A lie-flat business pod, a premium recliner and a standard economy seat each look different, and angled pods lean the way they lean on board, so a cabin reads at a glance instead of as rows of identical blocks.
  • Double-deck aircraft show both decks. On an A380 or a 747 the upper deck used to be missing entirely; now it sits below the main deck at the same scale.
  • Cabins are sized and spaced the way they are on the aircraft, so the aisle runs straight down the middle and the seat count on the page matches the seats you can see.
  • Searching a flight while signed out and then signing in now returns you to that same flight, instead of an empty search.

Seat map links you can read before you click

  • Every seat map now lives at its airline and aircraft, so a link reads like /seat-maps/qatar-airways/airbus-a350-1000 instead of a code. Airline pages moved up to match, and every old link still works.
  • When an airline flies the same aircraft in more than one cabin layout, those layouts now share one page with a switcher, rather than sitting on near-identical pages you had to compare by hand.
  • The calculators moved to names that say what they do.

Browse by airline, and see how each one's cabins compare

  • The airline list is now an A to Z directory that names the aircraft we map for each carrier, so you can tell whether your plane is covered without opening the page.
  • Every airline page now opens with its cabins: pitch, width and seat counts across the fleet, shown as ranges so you can spot which aircraft is the tight one.
  • Pages also link across to other airlines flying the same aircraft, and if we have not mapped yours yet you can ask for it in one step. Requests decide what we add next.

The blog is ours now, and it stays on SeatInfo

  • Articles are written by the SeatInfo team and read on SeatInfo. Opening one no longer bounces you to another site, so the reading list, search and categories all stay where you left them.

Sign in straight from the email

  • The sign-in email now carries a link that logs you in on the spot, so you can skip typing the 6-digit code. The code still works if you prefer it.
  • Follow a link that has expired or was already used and you land back on the sign-in page with a clear reason, instead of a dead end.

See where each cabin starts and ends

  • Every seat map now marks its cabins down the side of the aircraft: a colored block per cabin with its name and row range, so you can tell at a glance where Business ends and Premium Economy begins.
  • The home page preview picks up the same markings, and its cabin tabs now move the aircraft to the cabin you chose.

A warmer SeatInfo, top to bottom

  • SeatInfo has a new look: a warm orange palette, cleaner type, and a redesigned home page built around the cabin you are actually about to sit in.
  • The flight search box is easier to scan, with airline and flight number now separate fields so you can fill in whichever you know.
  • Seat map cards, pricing, and reviews were all rebuilt, and the seat map showcase now works properly on phones instead of being hidden.
  • Dark mode was retuned across every page to match.

Seat maps in the extension panel are now free for everyone

  • Any signed-in SeatInfo user can now open seat maps in the browser extension's side panel, with every cabin visible, no Pro plan needed.
  • Live seat availability (which seats are actually open on your flight) is part of SeatInfo Pro. Upgrade right from the panel whenever you want it.

See the seat map without leaving Google Flights

  • The new SeatInfo browser extension adds a See seats button to Google Flights. Click it and a side panel opens with the live, to-scale cabin for that exact flight, no new tab and no retyping.
  • The panel works like a small SeatInfo app: sign in right inside it, follow a quick intro the first time, and switch the panel language from Settings.

  • New flight time calculator: pick two airports and a departure time to estimate how long the flight takes, plus the exact local time you land. It handles timezones, daylight saving, and next-day or date-line arrivals for you.

  • New carry-on size checker: enter your bag's dimensions, pick your airline, and see whether it fits the cabin, counts as a personal item, or has to be checked. Covers 40 major airlines with a link to confirm each one's rules.

  • The seat maps page now opens with a search. Start with a flight number (like QF67) or pick an airline to jump straight to its fleet. Prefer to browse? The full catalog is still one tap away.

  • The seat tools now show a visual read of your result: a where-you-land scale for legroom and shoulder room, and a six-factor radar for Seat score.
